Porterhouse steaks, cut from the rear end of the short loin, give you 2-in-1 steaks that are great for grilling: it features a well-marbled strip on one side and a lean and tender filet on the other divided by a small T-shaped bone (farther up the short loin is the T-bone steak). Feel free to swap Porterhouse with T-bone, but if you like more of the tender filet choose the Porterhouse. All you need to do is a quick seasoning of salt and pepper before grilling, but you can do a quick marinade if you like. Make sure to grill it to between medium-rare and medium.

I’m a carnivore, through and through. My food of choice is steak and this last weekend I had a cut of steak that was so delicious I just have to share. I’m not kidding, buy and cook this steak, you will not regret it. But don’t you dare over season or over cook. To mess up this cut is a sin.

I have recently been super into dirt biking . I would rather be trail riding in the mountains than doing
anything else in the entire world. I have never had a dirt bike, but I have a
really good friend in California who has two. We rode through the
foothills of southern California a couple of times, and for me, it was heaven. When I
made the move to Hawaii three years ago I not only had to say goodbye to my
friend, I also had to say goodbye to his dirt bikes. It has been a long time
since I have even touched a dirt bike so I was really REALLY happy when a friend told me he knew a guy with four bikes.
I talked to my friend, and asked him
if he could talk to his neighbor about going riding sometime. He was totally down. We talked to some of our friends and they were all super
stoked. They all showed up Saturday ready to ride and we were all heading out
when it hit me I had other, extremely important, obligations. Long story short,
I didn’t go on the ride. I was so incredibly mad.

If I could hang out with anybody in the world for a day I would definitely want to play some tennis with this guy, Rafael Nadal. Like I said in my last post I am WAY into tennis, and he is far and away my favorite professional tennis player. The reason why he is my favorite is because when I first started to follow pro tennis he was just starting to get his name out there and holding his own against and beating alot of the pros at the time. Now he is currently the best tennis player in the world. If you want to know a little more about this guy here's the scoop on Nadal.
Like I said, he is currently the best male tennis player in the world. He is Spanish and won the 2008 Olympic gold medal for Spain, but his successes don't stop there. He has won an amazing 13 Grand Slam singles titles and 26 ATP World Tour Masters. The guy is basically unstoppable.

Another thing that you should know about me is that I absolutely love the sport of Tennis. I play everyday and am first singles on the varsity team at my high school. I thought I would throw a review of these shoes on here because they are incredible. I just bought a pair of the new NIKE LUNAR BALLISTEC hard court tennis shoes. Here's the scoop on them:
I know its a little immature of me but the whole reason I chose these shoes over Adidas barricades or Asics Gel resolution 5s are because they look incredible. Tennis shoes are typically bulky and plain and just look all around clunky, and I always thought they needed to look like that in order to be durable and supportive, but these Nikes blew all those stereotypes to peices. I mean look at these beauties:

But they not only look beautiful, they are a solid pair of shoes. They have great arch and heel support, have been pretty dang comfortable so far, and are way light. Their only downside is they have already shown signs of wear on the toe and heel. If your looking for durability you would do better with a pair of Nike air max cage or the Adidas barricades.

I thought I would stay on the topic of
food because, judging by all the popular food blogs, that’s what people want to
hear about! I’ll tell you all about a Food Truck I just recently discovered. I
live on the north shore of Oahu, Hawaii and I had been hearing talk of a food
truck called IMPOSSIBLES that serves amazing pizzas. I’m pretty serious about
my food, so I thought I would go hit up Impossibles and see how amazing it
really was.
Turns out they were right. The fact that
I was mind numbingly hungry probably helped Impossible’s case, but when I got
their piping hot classic pepperoni and cheese pizza it tasted like manna from
heaven. Their pizzas are massive, have delicious crusts, and a great sauce to
cheese ratio. The only problem that I had was that the cheese tended to fall
off the slice and leave you with a pile of saucy cheese and a slice of wet
crust which was no Bueno… but all in all if you find yourself hungry on the
North Shore I would definitely recommend Impossibles Pizza Truck.

If I had
access to any restraint or fast food place in the world I would definitely hit
an In-N-Out in California. Partially because I’m an almost broke high school
student that only has around 5 bucks to spend on a meal anyways and partially
because I can always go for a nice juicy double-double.
There are a
couple cool things about In-N-Out that make it unique and add to my interest in
the place. One thing that I REALLY like is that the menu is so simple. I Think
that this shows that they have their priorities straight. They focus on their burgers,
fries, and shakes. Pure and simple. They also use fresh never frozen
ingredients which is increasingly rare in fast food joints. Also In-N-Out has
an awesome hidden menu that would be worth checking out. You can find this
secret menu as well as other cool In-N-Out facts at

I could give a little autobiography
about myself so that you could get to know the person that’s blog you are
reading but to be frank that sounds ruddy boring and I’m sure you would rather
me take a different approach. Starting with this post I will be telling you
about myself in a variety of different ways that I hope are a whole lot more
interesting.
My favorite T.V. show is Adventure Time,
for some of you that have seen it you will know why, and for others that have
seen it you may have just ditched my blog. This show is ridiculously and
hilariously offbeat. It is like no other cartoon ever made in that it tries to
break all the norms and does it in a totally awesome way. It centers around the
great hero Finn the Human and his trusty sidekick and extremely stretchy dog
Jake. They travel around the mythical land of Ooo saving various princesses
from evil creatures, what can beat that?!
